Reality Uncovered Project Serpo Investigation - Part 9

This is a continuation of the release of information that has been gathered during the long investigation into the Project Serpo story by Reality Uncovered. Part 9 includes some shocking new information regarding individuals connected to Robert Collins - author of "Exempt from Disclosure" - who have been manipulating the handling of each
crisis that has threatened to railroad the Serpo hoax. It is suspected these individuals are also behind the T.C./Seinu "disclosures" also. Read on...
In the beginning, there was Richard Doty. In November of 2005, Mr. Doty emailed Victor Martinez the infamous "Anonymous" email, allegedly written by a DIA "insider". Victor distributed this email to his email list, and the rest is history. The 5000+ Serpo thread on ATS, Bill Ryan's website, animosity between Bill Ryan and ATS, animosity between Victor and Bill Ryan, animosity between RU and OM forums, allegations of "COINTELPRO", smear campaigns, and much more. Over the past few months, RU has successfully revealed the evidence showing the following:

  • Richard Doty sent the first "Anonymous" email in November
  • Richard Doty sent the "Paul McGovern" emails confirming the Serpo material
  • Bill Ryan, Victor Martinez, Rick Doty, Christopher (Kit) Green, and Harold (Hal) Puthoff took part in the "Team of 5" discussions to help analyze and "handle" incoming releases.
  • Anonymous (Rick Doty) had recommended Greatwaller, a "very special friend" to Victor, to be added to his list
  • Rick Doty's claims (in "Exempt From Disclosure" and in discussions with individuals) to have passed the NM Bar Exam, and subsequent claims of having gone to UNM, were all disproved as lies by RU staff.
  • Rick's emailed threats against Shawnna and Victor's criminal past were revealed.
  • Lucianarchy's (admin of the pro-Serpo forum) past forays in forum sock puppetry and manipulation was revealed.
  • Lucianarchy's claim of "insider" confirmation of Serpo being "disclosure" from Christopher "Kit" Green was disproved. Kit's assistance in this effort displayed innocence on his part in this hoax.
  • Bill Ryan's persistent defense of Rick Doty in the face of incontrovertible evidence, and his "covering" for Rick at the Laughlin conference was revealed.

If Rick's The "Conduit", then Who's the Source?

This has been the question on the minds of serious researchers digging into the reasons and motives of those "behind" Serpo. While Kit and Hal's involvement begs certain questions to be answered - the reason's Kit has offered are fairly mundane and reasonable enough. They shared an interest in the story, much as the rest of us have. Enough said. At least for now.

But if the "team of 5" was just a group of guys analyzing the "anonymous" releases, which we now know, beyond any reasonable doubt, was coming from Richard Doty, then the obvious next question is - is Rick Doty is only a conduit, and if he is - then who is "behind" him?

Recent statements from long-time members within the UFO arena, men within groups of mysterious names such as the "aviary" and the "aquarium", would suggest an elaborate DIA action meant to "clean up" the mess that was created by the "outing" of Richard Doty. This suggestion, these contacts and these emails keep "alive" the mystery, drama, and intrigue of ufo folklore. It has been strongly suggested, without evidence of any kind, that while Rick is in fact the source of the contacts - he isn't a lone wolf. Someone is behind him. And the very strong suggestion we are offered is that it is truly someone within the DIA. Maybe Paul Murad. Or maybe Dr. Gannon himself...

Or maybe...just maybe, our new friends assume we are gullible enough to buy it.. Maybe they believe we will swallow these "hints" without any verification or evidence whatsoever. No dice. Maybe Bennewitz would have, or Moore...but it's a new day and there are new kids in town.

While all of this cloak-n-dagger nonsense has been going on during these recent weeks, we've been following a lead that has offered much more solid evidence. It is this lead we are now offering to the general public. The "aviary" actions will be touched upon later. The important issue at the moment is laying in place the conclusion to the Serpo marketing plan. Yes...marketing plan. Read on...

Within the mountain of "team of 5" emails - there were specific clues that hinted there was a deeper story behind what Serpo appeared to be on the surface. Communications between these five were sometimes comical, other times heated, but often times very revealing - in terms of what happened each time the Serpo story came under fire. Most of the emails will never see the light of day, as they are mundane private exchanges that have no place in the public domain. However, there are several that must be revealed in order to lay in place a major piece of the Serpo puzzle.

There were two major "crisis" that arose throughout the Serpo drama. The first was when Tacitus Monroe arrived and threatened the anonymity and secrecy of the releases. The team of 5 were in disarray - distrusting each other, accusations began to fly... Suddenly, out of the blue, Victor receives an email from a certain individual. This person, we soon discover, is central to the Serpo tale. Her email to Victor, with Collins cc'd, was as follows:

Subject: Re: SUSPECT Named! Dr. Michael Salla: Author of new serpo.info Web site?

Hi Victor,
I hope you realize I am looking at the serpo.info to see how the forensic clues come together. I am not saying I condone any of the tactics at all, but this is how the physical eveidence led me to consider Dr. Michael Salla as possibly the driving force or author of serpo.info.

For different reasons, I felt the word "renounce" was a word more likely to be used by an author over the age of 50. Some words age and are less used today than in the past. "Renounce"was an older word which fit that category.

The use of the spelling out of E-N-T-E-R-T-A-I-N-M-E-N-T-! from the e-mail snippets below:

> > Dr MICHAEL SALLA's STUDY PAPERS:
> >
> > www.exopolitics.org/Study-Papers.htm
> >
> > E-N-T-E-R-T-A-I-N-M-E-N-T-! --
.. . . also match the last line of the serpo.info home page as shown below:

[Unable to display image]

A big clue which tied it together for me, which I did not mention before, was the registration of the owner of the serpo.info website.
Each time I looked him up, the search took me to the Australian registrations, then the block would come up because the Australian website's owner paid to keep his registration information private. Since Dr. Salla got his degrees from Australian universities, and probably still lives there, and since his exopolitics had a Feb. 18 article questioning Doty and Serpo, Salla seemed the most likely "force"
behind the serpo.info website.
    Marilyn

Victor, to the team of five:

I do note: Marilyn has sent us a screen shot of Tacitus' AOL - Australian account and data showing he lives there.

Rick has said he isn't in Australia.

Go Figure.

Marilyn. There are some reading this who may know Marilyn. To others, at this point in the story, she's just an interesting enigma. A mystery. But this is finally one mystery that would be solved. But first, another clue.

In my recent conversations with Dr. Christopher "Kit" Green, one member of the "team of 5" who was involved in the discussions of each "anonymous" release - our discussions centered around the evidence in the email header that linked the email to Doty's IP. Dr. Green had mentioned that a particular person had assisted him in the analysis of the IP header and had determined that the email header did not trace back to Rick Doty. When I asked Dr. Green if I could personally interact with this "IT expert" in order to hash out the discrepancies in our IP analysis, he agreed to ask. She agreed, and our exchange began. Sure enough, the "IT expert" turned out to be none other than Marilyn. Again.

What Marilyn did not know, but was soon to discover, was that by this time we had already discovered who she was, and her connection to Bob Collins and his book "Exempt from Disclosure". We also had surmised, by this point, why she took such an avid interest in putting out the "fires" as they arose, related to Serpo.

-----

Note: Bob Collin's own "Exempt from Disclosure" website is hosted by Best Impressions - by the Ruben's themselves.

From Doug Ruben's bio at: http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail~bookid~3529.aspx:
"Dr. Ruben is in private practice and president of Best Impressions International Inc, a media consulting firm."

A media consulting firm. If anyone is going to help Mr. Collins promote and market his book then, who would that most likely be?

  • The Rubens host Collin's website promoting "Exempt from Disclosure"
  • Doug Ruben is likely Collins' media consultant and assists, or assisted Collins with his marketing plan.
  • Marilyn Ruben attempted twice to counter each "crisis" that threatened to destroy the success of the Serpo viral marketing plan.

But there is one more damning piece of evidence, which, in combination with the above items, link the Rubens even further to Serpo.

Around the time when "impostor anonymous" was discovered by the team of 5 - in March of this year, the Seinu/TC disclosures began the same month. The first T.C. emails were sent to the OM forum. When the OM moderators did not publicly release these disclosures, the creator of T.C./Seinu sent a number of email to "Eben" (former OM moderator) and Shawnna. This is how we obtained the T.C. emails. When we traced the header of the emails, we discovered that they traced to East Lansing, Michigan. It is a mere 7 miles between Lansing center and Okemos center - home of Best Impressions, Doug and Marilyn Ruben.

Conversations with Marilyn

My exchange with Marilyn was short and sweet. Upon starting the conversation, her first email itself was a bit odd, calling Victor the mythical "Phoenix" and apparently "deducting", and getting it wrong, that I'm in the movie industry (I'm not):

"The whole Victor Martinez phenomenon is quite remarkable in some ways, in that like the mythical Phoenix bird, Victor rose out of the ashes from oblivion and commanded these e-mail lists where people trust him enough to send him otherwise confidential or top secret Serpo information."

My first question for her was as follows:

"My initial question for you is this - Dr. Green informed me that when the information came out that Rick Doty was the source of the first anonymous email, you had contacted Victor and him with your own analysis of the email header that could be found at serpo.info. And that your analysis did not find that Rick was the source, but that someone else was.

Would you mind outlining that analysis for me? Steve (my partner at realityuncovered.com) and I have significant IT experience and background, and Steve in particular is a genius with network/IP issues. We would like to re-examine your findings and somehow get it in line with our own analysis of the same header."

Her response was strange - in that she did not offer any sort of IT "lingo" in her explanation. In fact, the explanation sounded forced, and I was quite sure that when pressured, she would not be able to offer an analysis, because she hadn't actually conducted one - or if she had, she clearly had no idea what she was doing:

"It took a long time to decipher the e-mail header posted at the Serpo.info web site. I had to consider the possibility or likelihood the header could have been mis-typed accidentally or deliberately, with both possibilities affecting the outcome.

Rick Doty seems to take center stage whether he deserves it or not; some people think he is the most honorable person in the world, while other people have a disparaging view of him. I have never met Rick Doty and have only corresponded with him rearely.

Then I later re-evaluated the formatting of the Serpo e-mail headers, which differed from other mail headers, and had to consider that maybe the sender was actually the recipient, but I do not know how Rick Doty fits into this picture."

My response was as follows:

"I can understand your concern about the header on serpo.info possibly being changed if mis-typed or deliberately - however we've obtained a copy of the original email - the actual email with the authentic header, and the header information matches the one posted at serpo.info.

If you don't mind me asking, do you have an IT background - either education or experience in the IT field? Please don't take that the wrong way - I'm just asking because to do such a header analysis, many times takes a very strong understanding of networking, how mail servers work, and how mail is routed and information is inserted into the header by those mail servers along the way.

The header in the original anonymous email, which we have a copy of, one can clearly follow the email path through the mail servers. If you read the header in the correct direction, you eventually find the starting IP (the sender of the email) to be obviously Qwest - Albequerque, New Mexico. Rick Doty's IP provider. Furthermore, we have corroborating evidence that shows Rick's IP address during that same exact time period (November), was identical to that of the sender of the anonymous email.

So if you've properly analyzed this header, I'm very curioius why you would say that you don't know how Rick Doty fits into the picture? You don't need to look very deeply ino the header to see his precise IP that he was using in November of 2005 (based on his other correspondence during that time frame). Maybe you could describe your own analysis in IT terms?"

Her short reply:

"Hi Ryan,
The Serpo header shows the e-mail was sent from 192.168.9.180. This is one of the "special use" private ranges typically used for home networking. Does anyone know if Rick Doty uses a home network? Marilyn"

Yes...anyone with an IT background has probably just raised an eyebrow at that response. Marilyn clearly is no IT expert, and is even more clearly trying to steer the evidence away from the obvious conclusion, in order to protect Rick Doty.

One more try:

"Hi Marilyn,
The 192.168.9.180 is not only for home networking, it's an internal network IP for the Outblaze email servers (or any organization). They pass email through an internal filter, which attaches the internal IP number 192.168.9.180 to the header. You're looking at the wrong IP. To find the originating one, you need to go to the bottom. (Email headers should always read from bottom to top - originating IP at the bottom - receiving IP at the top - that's why webtv, Victor's service, is at the top)"

Her response, again was short - she deflects and avoids the questions (getting the name "Outblaze" wrong in the process):

"Hi Ryan,
Yes, I too, explored all the other IPs you described and all the particulars relating to Qwest internet, Blaze email, etc. so you can proceed with your observations or questions.
Marilyn."

While we learned a lot about Marilyn in this exchange, the discussion was obviously going nowhere. So we decided to lay out the evidence linking Marilyn & Doug to Collins & "Exempt from Disclosure" - and to Serpo...and watch the reaction:

"The next stage of our discussion isn't about Rick Doty. I just wanted to get beyond the stage where we can both accept that Rick did, in fact, send the first anonymous email. Now we can put that aside as a proven fact.

Let's move on to Bob Collins. Doug (who we've assumed is your husband?) and yourself run a company called Best Impressions - and as you've said earlier you're affiliated with several websites. I'm not sure many people (or anyone really) realize that Best Impressions hosts Bob Collins website ufoconspiracy.com. You also promote Bob's book Exempt from Disclosure throughout your website abduct.com. Doug Ruben assists writers with marketing their books as well...

Do you still see where I'm headed? Can you comment? Is Doug (or Best Impressions) hired to help Collins market his book? Because all evidence points toward that being precisely the case.

-Ryan"

Several days passed without response. Finally, we received the following:

"Hi Ryan, I enjoy reading about Serpo and similar stories, but physical evidence is still needed before anyone claims they are true. Presently I have a Iot of projects being neglected and will not have time to pursue further discussion until after the new year. Marilyn"

Since sending this response, she has gone into "hiding" and has not responded to either our emails or to Dr. Green's emails since. I've followed up with a list of the links for her to respond to, with the hope that she could lay waste to them point by point. She has not, nor do we believe she could. Maybe it's Doug's responsibility to respond...

"
  • Marilyn & Doug Ruben (Best Impressions) host Collin's website
  • Marilyn's website promotes Collins book Exempt from Disclosure
  • Doug Ruben assists writers with book marketing and promotions
  • Marilyn and/or Doug Ruben sent out the Seinu disclosures (from East Lansing, Michigan) in direct response to a crisis within the Serpo distribution.
  • Marilyn assists the "team of 5" in trying to identify "Tacitus Monroe"
  • Marilyn assists the "team of 5" in trying to disprove that the Anonymous header was from Richard Doty.
  • "

Regardless of your position regarding whether the Serpo tale contains some truth or whether it's 100% fiction, or whether it is the first stage of a government acclimation project in preparation for disclosure - one thing remains clear. This field, (UFOlogy) is a niche market where the potential to make money is substantial. There is a large enough audience, and enough interest, so that films such as Independence Day, War of the Worlds, and Men in Black draw large audiences and make millions.

I was recently provided the opportunity to speak, via phone, to an individual who works for the office of the Director of National Intelligence. Our investigation of Rick Doty drew his interest and we were initially contacted with regards to Rick's email threats against Shawnna. Upon forwarding the information to him, he was willing to talk via the phone.

The discussion was interesting - and he made it clear that Rick has been at this (creating stories and faking government documents) for many years. He also made it clear that both Rick and Collins were "released" from the military for "going off the deep end" in their own individual ways. And that there are quite a few who have always tried, continue to try, and will always try, to make money from the phenomenon of ufos.

The legend of Serpo will be that it was a fabrication of Collins and Rick, as part of a viral marketing plan to generate buzz and interest for a book. It is this writer's conclusion that the only ones "behind" Rick Doty, in the creation of this hoaxed information, were Bob Collins and Douglas and Marilyn Ruben.

With the publication of this article, I am personally concluding my research into Serpo. My personal focus will no longer be on this hoax, but instead on the larger issues where individuals have been involved, both inside and outside of U.S. Intel for many years. The larger issue of what the government truly knows (or doesn't know), what incidents remain unexplained that represent authentic sightings and encounters, and how all governments have dealt, and continue to deal with such phenomenon.

This story has been an unfortunate distraction from true disclosure of the real secrets of these phenomenon. We must not allow hoaxers and "entertainers", only interested in making a quick buck, to distract us from the truth ever again. We must never allow charlatans and con artists to use fear as a tool to prevent their games from being revealed. Always expose them for what and who they are - and let us continue on with our quest to uncover reality.

I wish you the best - and I hope to see you on the forums.

    -Ryan (ryguy)
